Content Writer

Job Description

Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
Proofread and edit guest blogs, articles, PR, etc before publication
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO content guidelines to increase web traffic & organic ranking
Promote content on social media
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
Update website content as needed

Skills

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Familiarity with web and app publications, SEO, technical & social media content, technical blogs, case studies & finance content.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Ability to meet deadlines

Experience & Qualification

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Content Writer
Post-graduation in Marketing, English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
Proficiency in immigration/visa/law firms in US and Canada
Expertise in writing on web pages/landing pages/ad copies/social media posts/SEO content writing
