An Educational Excursion for kids to Shantiniketan

Educational excursions influence a kid’s learning curve. However, not everyone is privileged enough to enroll in schools that offer these trips.

Hope Foundation aims to make sure that every kid gets equal opportunities in terms of learning and growing experiences. Brainium believes in the importance of a child’s education. Keeping that in mind, Hope Foundation planned a wonderful educational excursion for children from shelter homes.

The trip was a two-day visit to one of the utmost significant places in West Bengal, Shantiniketan. Shantiniketan is known for its unbreakable ties to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.

Educational trips like this require a lot of support and aid to make sure every child is taken care of. Brainium always believes that even the slightest support to organizations like Hope can be beneficial for society. Keeping that faith and trust, we made a substantial financial contribution to corroborate the success of this trip.

Shantiniketan houses a lot of historical places. The children visited Shilpa Gram which is the cultural center of Bolpur, also known as the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre’s village. It is a beautiful arena that spans over 26 acres with separate museums aboding traditional handcrafts from each state of India. Shilpa Gram is a great way to learn about the heritage, craftsmanship, and lifestyle of our country.

The next stop was the legendary Uttarayan Museum and complex that houses everything related to Rabindranath Tagore and the other prominent members of the Tagore family. The museum holds artifacts, gifts, letters, and even personal belongings of the family along with memorabilia of their immense contribution to Visva Bharati University.

The kids went to Deer Park as well to learn about the wildlife of West Bengal. Although the park is famous for deer, it also houses many birds. Overall, the trip was very fruitful where kids from shelter homes could learn about our rich heritage and have fun with their friends.

Hope Foundation works relentlessly to provide opportunities and life experiences to some of the most underprivileged children in society today. Their dedication and passion for kids’ welfare rightfully align with our philanthropic principles. Hence, every year we make sure to take proactive steps to provide cooperation as a part of our corporate social responsibility.
